Do you charge per user?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users. You pay for how much you use — forms, responses, records, signatures — never per seat.
What happens if I reach a plan limit?
Nothing is billed and nothing is deleted. You are told which limit you reached and offered the next plan up. Anything you already published keeps working — you simply cannot create more of that thing until you are back under the limit or you upgrade.
What do I get on each plan?
Free: 1 live form, 10 responses a month, 1 record folder, 2 signature envelopes and 2 AI form builds. Starter ($9.99/mo): 3 forms, 40 responses, 5 folders, 10 envelopes, 10 AI builds. Professional ($49.99/mo): 5 forms, 75 responses, 10 folders, 20 envelopes, 20 AI builds, and your branding removed. Business ($99.99/mo): 20 forms, 400 responses, 50 folders, 100 envelopes, 60 AI builds. Enterprise ($249/mo, set up with our team): unlimited forms, responses, folders and envelopes, with 150 AI builds a month.
Is the AI form builder on every plan?
Yes. Forms, records, e-signatures and the AI form builder are on every plan, Starter included. The only difference between plans is how much of each you get per month.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — there is a permanently free plan and it needs no credit card. Paid plans have no trial: when you upgrade, your card is charged that day and the plan starts immediately. Cancel anytime.
Can I collect payments or receive faxes?
Both are add-ons on paid plans, available by request rather than self-serve — email support@getdocssigned.com and we will set them up. Neither is available on the Free plan.
Can I use GetDocsSigned for patient health information?
Only in a healthcare account, which we set up by hand with a signed Business Associate Agreement, starting at $199 a month per practice. Regular and free plans are not covered by a BAA and must not be used for patient health information.
Are signatures legally binding?
Yes. GetDocsSigned signatures are fully compliant with the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, and valid as simple electronic signatures under eIDAS in the EU. Every signed document includes a tamper-evident certificate and full audit trail.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged that day; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
What file formats are supported?
PDF files. Upload any standard PDF and place signature, date, and text fields anywhere on the document. All signed documents are returned as merged PDFs.
